A superb Syrah featuring garnet purple color with dry-yet-fruity medium-full body. The wine is fruit-forward with soft, fine-grained tannins and just the right level of acidity to give it a very smooth mouth feel. This wine will continue to improve with age but is already delicious.
Features a dark purple/garnet color with toasty oak notes on the nose. 50% of the fruit comes from "old vines" that are more than 108 years old! Tasting reveals jammy cherry/berry fruit with a touch of vanilla, nice acidity, and medium tannins, ending with a fruity, full body and cherry sandalwood finish.
