2016 Pinot Noir Siletto Ranch
Siletto Ranch, San Benito AVA

Siletto Vineyard
The Siletto Ranch and vineyard are due east over the coastal range from Steinbeck’s Long Valley. The limestone enriched soils and warm climate provide a great growing environment for the Pinot Noir and other varietals including Viognier.
Winemaking Notes
The fruit was harvested on August 31, 2016 and spent 3 days in cold soak prior to fermentation. The 2016 Siletto Pinot Noir was fermented to dry in slightly over 1 week and was aged in a combination of neutral and new French oak barrels. The wine was bottled on March 29, 2017.
Tasting Notes
The Siletto Pinot Noir is a delightful red wine that is a bit lighter and more approachable than some of the traditional heavy and earthy Pinots. It has developed well and is quite tasty and drinkable for a relatively young Pinot Noir.
